Fixed Braces

Discreet, effective fixed braces

Fixed Braces in Buckhurst Hill, Essex: The White House Dental Surgery

At The White House Dental Surgery, we understand that sometimes the most reliable method to achieve a beautifully straight smile is with fixed orthodontic appliances. Modern fixed braces are far more discreet and comfortable than in the past — some are even clear or tooth-coloured, giving you the confidence to smile while your treatment works.

Why should you use a specialist orthodontist?

  • A wider range of treatment options can be offered to suit individual needs.

  • The focus is always on long-term bite function and overall oral health, not just cosmetic straightening.

  • There is a deeper understanding of tooth movement and biomechanics behind every treatment decision.

  • Advanced technology and specialist techniques are used to deliver precise, predictable results.

  • A broader variety of issues can be treated compared to general dentistry.

  • This approach leads to higher-quality, more stable, and longer-lasting outcomes.

Types of Fixed Braces We Offer

We provide orthodontic treatment for Adults and Children to the highest standard, delivered by experienced orthodontic specialist.

Functional braces

a specially designed brace that helps correct bite problems in children and adolescents through guiding proper jaw development. It is especially useful in cases which teeth are stick out.

Fixed metal braces

Also known as train track braces, remain one of the most popular teeth straightening option, as it is highly effective and predictable in correcting complex teeth and bite issues. A fixed metal brace is made up of metal brackets that are bonded to your teeth, with a wire connecting them to gradually move teeth into alignment.

Fixed ceramic braces

Providing the same effectiveness as metal braces, but with the brackets made of clear ceramic material, making the braces less visible and more aesthetically pleasing.
